SOURCING

We work closely with our global network of suppliers to verify and validate their internal Quality Management Systems and keep meticulous records of each shipment for every product we handle. As an FDA-inspected Importer of Record, we go beyond the traditional role of a broker and treat every shipment as if it were our own.

Every supplier Meridian works with, whether it is a farm and processor in the USA or overseas, is treated the same when it comes to Supplier Verification. We hold all suppliers to the same standard, using the GFSI-accredited FSSC 22000 standard as our benchmark.

We visit our global suppliers regularly and maintain a constant dialogue toward our shared goal of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

ANALYSIS

We prefer to develop optimized ingredient specifications in partnership with our customers according to the needs of their business. A certificate of analysis accompanies every Meridian delivery confirming compliance against the agreed specification.
